New Bigfoot Sighting – Pushmataha County, Oklahoma

This report was submitted to us from Pushmataha County, southeastern Oklahoma:

Pushmataha County, Oklahoma

“Deer hunting. Returning back to camp from deer stand. Walking at the bottom of a dry river bed with my partner. We first heard heavy steps stepping and stopping in unison with us. Very creepy. We walked a bit and could hear heavy steps matching ours. Then came the stick and rock throwing. We double timed it back to deer camp, to find everyone there not out of breath, like we were. We shared our experience and were told that was probably just a Bigfoot shadowing us, hoping we would drop something for them. Didnt sleep well rest of trip, even though there many men with guns around.”  -Scott, SE Oklahoma

Thank you for the submission Scott. Bigfoot Finder finds your report very intriguing. Many people have shared your experience with the rock and stick throwing, which seems to be a common reaction to humans. The Bigfoot you encountered very well could have been shadowing you and hoping for scraps, as your hunting party suggested. Another theory is that the Bigfoot was simply frightened and wanted to scare off “intruders” hunting in his area, while at the same time keeping his distance. Bigfoots have been known to be territorial, so next time you go out deer hunting in that area, just be aware that you might be stealing his next meal, and his reaction might be a little less subtle than the last time!

Bigfoot Sighting 30 East of St. Paul, Minnesota

Here is an interesting video of a Bigfoot sighting in Minnesota near the St. Croix River on July 7, 2011. While the video is a bit grainy, this appears to be a legitimate documentation. SasquatchWatcher provides excellent commentary and analysis of the clip.

Sasquatch Print – Guernsey County, Ohio

Bigfoot Finder recently came across a YouTube video posted by “TheSquatchmaster.” According to the video, it was filmed in Guernsey County, Ohio in the spring of 2011. We would guess that the documented footprint was likely found in the areas around Salt Fork State Park, which is a densely forested area.

It is an interesting documentation, and might have some validity. However, there is not much information documented to back up the claim that it is legitimate. There are no size references, no specific location listed besides “the woods,” and we can think of several reasons why someone would be in “the woods” barefoot. While it has some characteristics of an actual Bigfoot footprint, it could also be a person wearing on of those shoes with toes.

Until the “TheSquatchmaster” can produce some more convincing evidence, this film remains inconclusive.

Washington Coast – April, 2007

I’ve always thought the Bigfoot craze was kind of a cool idea.  Could there really be some kind of giant ape man out there around the world?  I have done some research here and there (just over the internet, nothing serious) and have started looking for signs myself when I’m out and about.  I am an avid outdoorsman and enjoy hiking with a little fly fishing on the side.  Growing up on the coast of Washington near Canada it’s just the way of life.  Being so close to the Olympic National Park, I’m surrounded by so much beauty it’s easy to go out and get lost for hours.

When I was 29 I was hiking one of my favorite spots one day with my friend Carol.  We started off to a spot I knew of down by a creek.  The area is a good place to hang out and eat some lunch.  When we got to the bottom of the hill a foul smell surrounded us.  I thought it might be an animal carcass that was nearby and we were just getting a bad wind.  We sat down on a giant rock near the creek and started eating the snacks we had brought.  Within seconds we were both staring at a massive creature across the small creek.  I couldn’t catch my breath at first.  A Bigfoot was right in front of us.  All the stories I’ve heard or read about in the past portrayed the animal to be giant, but this one was only about 5 feet tall.  I know it sounds weird when I say that the animal was only 5 feet tall, and it doesn’t sound like Bigfoot, but it was!  We were both frozen, scared because we were probably only 40 feet away from it.  I remember the Bigfoot pulling up some kind of grass and then turned in the opposite direction and disappeared into the forest.  We both sat in silence, but could hear the footsteps and sticks breaking as the animal moved through the woods.  I would bet that this lasted for more than a couple minutes.  I made my way down to the edge of the river where it was grabbing the vegetation that I diagnosed to be some kind of wild onion.  Even though this situation scared me a little, it was an amazing story and I share it with everyone I know.  Now, I’m sharing it with you guys.
